Tru Optik collects demographic and behavioral data segments from a variety of sources that include data providers, publishers, and demand-side platforms ("DSPs"). We collect this information for the purposes of measuring and targeting digital advertising campaigns on over-the-top ("OTT") media and connected TV ("CTV") devices. Tru Optik also shares data with various DSPs, supply-side platforms ("SSPs"), and publishers.
Tru Optik collects the following types of data: Internet protocol ("IP") addresses, user agents, identifiers for advertising ("IFAs"), cookies, and device IDs.
Demographic identifiers are used by marketers to develop audience segments and profiles including, but not limited to, the following: age, race, gender, family size, ethnicity, income, and education.
Behavioral identifiers are based on consumer behavior on Web sites, and offline actions that indicate preferences and likeliness to be interested in a marketed product.
